Right. If anyone other than the sb was in the pot I think pushing is way better, but playing AK in position is good.

Actually, the replies have been quite helpful. I am now certain that the best pre-flop play was an all-in push. I also have the benefit of the inferior jack a$$ player telling me he would certainly have folded to an all-in raise. Thanks to all who responded. Much appreciated.
