He's not bluffing/value betting worse hand enough to check-call. I like bet-folding. Check-folding is weak, he hasn't shown any strength whatsoever. To just give up is gaysauce.

a King, lower two pair, is calling three barrels. medium queen maybe? river was just inviting a bluff.

Who knows, who cares, you have 2 pair. You aren't check-folding.

"a King, lower two pair, is calling three barrels. medium queen maybe? river was just inviting a bluff. "

How does a bare K get to the turn? Only two pair that gets there is 73. I doubt QJ/QT/worse is calling another street (if you disagree w/that then b/f is best). He's got nothing to bluff with unless he's floating you two streets (which he's not given flop). He's going to check all his mediocre hands behind.

"Who knows, who cares, you have 2 pair. You aren't check-folding."

That's terrible reasoning.

Edit: BTW, just to note, just because I say c/f doesn't mean that I don't expect to win this pot a majority of the time.

It's really not. He has shown no aggression. Do you expect him to call down just to bet something worse than Q3 here? Bet-fold. Check-call sucks because he's never bluffing or betting worse than Q3. You have 2 pair. If you check-fold you are check-folding with the intention that you are folding the best hand. If you knew you were ALWAYS beat, this would obviously be ideal. But you don't, and he can very likely have a worse made hand that will check behind, but will still call a bet. I bet and fold to a raise.

[ QUOTE ]
i'd prolly fold here, looks like he has Q4. I wouldn't give him much credit for playing back b/c there's two people behind him left to act...

[/ QUOTE ]

No decent regular would ever shove Q4 here.

[ QUOTE ]

I also really like the check call line on this river however if your going to bet it at least make it 3/4.

[/ QUOTE ]

You beat very little here. A check-call will result in bad times. His amount to bet was fine for squeezing out value in a good, lesser hand, which are few and far between.

I'd follow your line but with a bit bigger river bet.

Why are you advocating a bigger river bet? Nothing better is ever folding and a bigger bet might make the very few worse hands fold as well.

If you were playing me, this weak bet would almost inducing me to bluff here, thats why I would bet this bigger, to block any marginal hands to raise and reduce the chanse of any bluffs.
You might say it would be a blocking bet, lol
