I played my first live tournament exactly 355 days ago.

I did something like this that I'm not too proud of, I'll share it and maybe OP will feel less embarassed.

12 left, blinds are 400/800, I have t8200 and raise to t1800 UTG with A7s 6-handed. Folds to BB who pushes a stack equal size to mine and I fold.

Yes the 8 war wrong. BEcause it paid 10 players. 8th -10th paid the same. We were all above that minimum. So, sorry it was 6.

That was one. I figured she could have had AJ or maybe anything like 55 and above.

I didn't think she had anything like QQ,KK, or AA. I figured if she had something like that she would have just called watching my dumb butt bluff the rest off on the turn.

After she put me all in she said she raised hoping I'd fold. She said she's been running so bad she didn't care what I had she wanted me to fold.

After the break I walked back and she was telling a guy "I just don't understand, It's absolutly brutal. I mean what are the odds of somthing like that?"

I answered "I think it's about 6 to 1" (turns out it's more like 7-1.)

She said "I'm talking about the airplane that flew into a building in all places of New York."

This is totally wrong.

The lesson should be that IF you decide to raise with 10-2, and have less than a 10bb stack it's a push.

Same for 6-7.

Same for 3-3.

Same for everything...
