Tuq - yeah I didn't read the Hollinger article, but basic idea is if you believe Houston and Sacto are gonna be good, someone's gotta go. Anyway Pacific Division is gonna be nasty this year, I think our home-opener is against Suns.

skunk,

You're Kobe to me.

Al, last year seemed like the proverbial step in the right direction upon which they will improve this year. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around Houston and Sacto being better but we'll see. The only thing working against you is that they are the CLIPPERS.

tuq,

Chris Kaman the faces of the Phoenix big men.

Really though, I'd be very very concerned about Amare. The type of surgery he had on his knee is a big concern. And I say this as a huge Amare fan.

skunk,

Bringing him off the bench would be a good idea (as they seem to have done thus far). I'd be happy if we got 18 and 8 out of him, seriously, with a bigger bounceback the next season.

Also, unfrozen caveman Kaman scares me off the court more than on it.

I was at a bar and they were playing a Chris Kaman documentary on FSN with no sound. It was really disturbing watching him play with his rifles and shotguns. But god does he have some sweet moves in the post, esp. left-handed.

I hope Amare transitions well into using his basketball skills rather than relying solely on his athleticism. He's still the only guy I've seen really school Duncan.

Tuq - 18 / 8 seems realistic.

Skunk - I hate your team. Although I have to admit this is pretty funny (courtesy of a friend who's a Laker fan):

Al,

How can you possibly possibly not root for both LA teams? I'm a Laker diehard but I loved going to Clips games in the mid-to-late 90s because tickets were so cheap and the players were so terrible. I got to yell at George Karl from 4 rows back in the Sports Arena for under $100. I'm a big Rodney Rogers fan, and only someone with Clippers Spirit can say that.

Skunk - I am in favor of yelling at George Karl, what a douchebag.

Clippers my adopted team when I moved to LA and got season tix cause they were (and still are, relative to Lakers) cheap. Most Clipper fans I know can't stand the Lakers becaues they stand for everything the Clippers do not. Especially the winning titles thing. Also Kobe I hate that guy.

Kobe's actually supposed to be a really nice guy. He's a little socially awkward and inept, that's all.

Also, I wonder when our little LA shindig is gonna get cut short by the mods. I was just posting cause I thought I'd be just barely IBTL.
