I have 3 units on Philly -3.

Didn't NO barely get a win against a banged up Tampa team that was starting a rookie 7th round pick? And they won it on a returned punt? I hate betting against NO because they have surprisingly won some bets for me, but I don't think they can beat Philly.

imo this will be a push at the worst for someone picking Philly.

^oops i see Naj already pointed out NO poor play in the other thread

NajdorfDefense, how often have they come off a week where all they heard about was TO? I don't feel you need the letdown to have value with the Saints, but psychologically speaking the Eagles are certainly going into this game with a different mindset than they were against Dallas.

Saints starting S Harper out with torn ACL. They are gonna have problems stopping McNabb's passing attack.

Love this game. Philly should be laying 6-7.

I would have agreed, but Bodog is starting to lower the juice on NO at 3.5. Granted it is still 12cent more than Pinny's line.

Joe Blow is betting NO now? I am really thinking of taking NO and hopeing for a middle.

You know, I'm a little nervous about my picks....

I have one combined bankroll with my GF. We put 2 units on Philly -3.
With my separate roll I teased NO to +9.5 with Cinn pick. Call me crazy, but those are my bets

my prediction: Eagles 27 Saints 20

Other game: Cinn > Tampa

disclaimer: i'm a big Saints fan

This line is probably fair. The Saints have done a good/bad job of playing to their competition - and I've been especially impressed with their preparation on defense. I expect this to be a close game. Shutting down ATL completely a few weeks ago shouldn't be discounted entirely for the MNF/Katrina effect - the Saints defense really is drastically improved b/c of new personnel and coaching....They also held Carolina's passing attack to only 2 TD's thru 3.5 qtrs (late TD was when Foster broke one while running out the clock)....McNabb & Philly are executing perfectly right now and will be tough - but like every week so far, I'd expect everybody to be a little more impressed with the Saints after Sunday - win or lose.

*Disclaimer #2: I'm not touching this game.
