A 10 year old girl with a knife would be a favorite over Mike Tyson.

As long as the 10 year old knows how to use it. If he doesn't, he's more likely to have it wrestled away from him and then be killed with his own knife. Much like you would have been had you decided to pull it on the "busket" (whatever the hell that is).

LOL
You're assuming:

1. I don't know how to use a knife

2. Random Busket dude is proficient in Escrima

In general, knife disarmament is a joke. 8 minute video on why (somewhat annoying editting)

Segment from video (less than 2 minutes)

Actually a 10 year old girl probably wouldn't have enough reach to overcome Mike's punches, but I think a random adult male with a knife would be a favorite over Iron Mike. The main point is that if I drew my knife and he engaged me, drunk busket dude would have almost no chance of surviving the encounter.

Andrew First, the Kickboxing champion of Poland, and 2nd degree blackbelt died from a knife attacker. Kuba Tokarz, Polish Judo Champion was wounded in a knife attack in a bar. He's paralyzed for life.

Knife > Busket

I live in Los Angeles, and it's legal for me to carry a concealed folding knife, which is what I carry. It clips on the inside of my waist at my hip, and is pretty easy to draw. I keep it sharp, and it's a 5 inch blade, so it's definitely not a toy. I carry it for the same reason I study martial arts: self-defense. I'm not aggro, and don't go to bars, or dangerous/shady parties. I'm also pretty good at diffusing nasty situations, so I doubt I'll ever need it.

I don't have any formal training in how to use a knife, but the footwork I learn from my martial arts instructor is based on fencing, so it would definitely lend itself well to knife work. Within the next couple months, I'm gonna start to learn knife fighting from my instructor.
