I was about to make a flowchart for you, but when I reread and saw that she already said she sees you as more of a friend, I realized it was all over already.
If you really want to, you can try to make a move that makes it clear you don't want to be friends, you want to be a lover or nothing at all. However, be aware that it is exceedingly unlikely to work. |

I was in the "Friends" zone with this one girl. I made a move and got the same answer like you. Basically, she pleaded with me to be her "friend". I refused, I said this never would work out. At least, my refusal got her off balance and she showed me a lot of respect for telling her like it is.
Well, she allowed me to bang her like 3 times. I guess she felt that she had to do this to keep me as a "friend". Still that whole thing sucked a lot for me so I stopped seeing her after a while. Bummer, as I really liked her (even as just a friend). I've been in a couple of emotional quagmires in my life. It never took longer than 2 months before I pulled the plug though. Be a man: act! |

BTW I find myself occasionally dealing with situations like these, although my current one is of an extreme variation.
I should post sometime about my long and complicated follies with women (there are quite a few of these at present). Would be fascinating reading even if I got no real advice. |
