ime, this is often a draw or a worse ace. as it is, with 100bb and tptk in a 3-bet pot i can't see folding this and if we call the flop and check the turn i would still think we are inclined to call the push getting ~3:1. for that same reason, if we push now he'll be getting 3:1 and likely call with all fd's and worse aces.

what kind of hand call's a 3 bet preflop that has a flush draw?

QcKc or 6c7c 8c9c? seems a really unprofitable call to be making.

Again with the same reasoning, the only 3 bet call preflop that is a worst ace is AQ. I guess thats u'r best hope.

I check, he pushes. $276 to call into a $938 pot.

I make possibly the worst play ever recorded and fold! He shows 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I die a little inside.

His flop raise confused the hell out of me, and honestly I thought I had more chips left. Had I realized it was actually $276 to see $938 I would have called for sure. I was playing a bit poorly at the time (tired) and I think there must have been some psychological impact from him shoving in $2200 more.

wow i cannot believe anyone could fold getting those odds with AK...and I don't think he's very good either if he left himself that much to bluff on the turn and he followed through with it

Lately I have been playing AK very agg. (thanks to Dan's post) and lately I have been losing a lot with AK [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I push here because TPTK is the nuts in 3-bet pots with normal stacks but I guess I lose to a set or AJ or something.

hahahaha. this is why i call and chk call allin on the turn. the 'he thinks you have kk/qq' part is key.

This push from his side after the flush card fell smells so strange i would call here (even for double the amount of the remaining stack). Sometimes you just can rule out a flush completly, and this is one of those spots...
