easy fold

It would be great if everyone could say a bit more about the reasoning of their actions It doesn't really help the OP if he just gets told to fold or call or whatever

Mind telling us why you call this?

TPTK is the nutz! If the board was a 27Kr i'd be more inclined to fold, but its not. Tons of draws he can have that he'd do this with plus worse kings..not to mention i've NEVER seen this overbet push with a set before.

Villain just sat down no reads.

SB ($139.90)

Isn't the max buying for NL50 $50 or $100? How can he have $139.90 if he just sat down?

Also please note this valuable thread if you don't have reads on villains who just joined:

Because we have AK and just flopped TPTK
Because TPTK is the nuts
Because this is a draw/weaker king way more often than it is a set/2pair
Beacause hardly any1 plays sets like villain just did
Because we only need to win 41% of the time
Because if you don't call with AK, wtf DO you call with?

I think this is very close. It really looks like that SB is on a draw. 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] are only draws that are favourite against our TPTK. Or maybe he's representing a draw on purpose... In addition there's still CO to act. Maybe he's slowplaying a set here.

Without CO I'd probably call most of the time. CO still to act, I'd probably fold but it's pretty close.

Hmm, haven't thought of it like that before. You sure have good points there. Thanks.

Ever thought he called preflop with a 56 of hearts or something and made bottom 2 and wanted all the money in off the flop with the SB just cold calling your flop bet? Maybe he made this move hoping that you "the 1 pair holder" would call him and also kick out the SB "seems to be drawing player".
