I'd probably have to forget 80% of what I learned, drop down two or three limits, and picj up a bad drinking habit.

i.e. It's very easy to do at the lower limits. 2 tabling 50 NL would probably do it, leave alone bonuses/rakeback. I'd do NL cashgames.

i switch around

every month is interpokr and sunpoker

thats $200 plus rakeback like $260ish.
there are other cryptos with similar deals.

whenever party or stars has a reload i do that.

full tilt is great. it seems whenever i finish thier bonus they always have another one real soon.

absolute is good for bonuses but sucks gamewise.

i will warn you. i hope you have a lot of money saved up. i have a part time job and living this way can still stress the hell out of me. ive been very frugal though as im looking at moving up limits so i can breath a little and save up more money.

what if two days before your rent is due you lose $200. now you have to dip into your bankroll to pay your rent. so now your dont have enough to play comfortably. can you handle that sort of thing without it affecting your play?

whether or not to make $11/hr playing online-poker also depends on your starting bankroll.
Also depends on whether you actually have an ability to beat the games or figure out how to find decent bonuses and rake-back.

Interpoker $100 bonus a month is a decent place to start.

PokerPlex, Absolute, WPEX, Prima, etc etc all have decent bonuses and/or rakeback depending on what stakes and game you are playing.

Limit has the better bonus-clearing rates at many sites.
But if you suck at limit and are great at NL or SNG's then you probably should consider playing those.

What some people are trying to get at is that it's not possible to achieve an hourly rate of $11. You can play games that you think will get you $11 per hour, but after 2 or 3 months you may find that you made $20 per hour during that time, or only $2 per hour. Poker is crazy that way. The point is you will definitely not achieve exactly $11 somehow.

Secondly, if you can make $11 per hour at some job you should want more than double that per hour to play poker. Some would want ten times as much per hour. Why? Because poker is a huge grind. It is mentally exhausting. It gets boring. It is not possible to play 40 hours of internet poker each and every week. Any more than 20 hours for me and I'm burnt the hell out. Playing poker isn't like having a job. It is like owning a business. You can't count on anything. You might break even for 2 months straight. You might have a ridiculous downswing that makes you question everything in your life. It's a serious endeavor, one that you would want more than $11 per hour to undertake.

Hope this helps, best of luck.

working a job at $11/hr is WAY better then playing poker for $11. If you are not ambitious enough to aim for a higher hourly rate I would not recommend playing internet poker for a profession.

the problem with poker is you don't get paid if you slack off for a bit.

also the fact that it is going to be donezo.
