Re: 55 Speed: 300/600 Push with these stacks and this position?
B/c you have 10 x BB, and the .7% EV you gain by pushing does not take into account the short stacks that have a huge probabilty of busting soon. Also, I would never assume that a big stack would be that tight unless he is a known regular. Ooh, and a 3rd thing is stack power. Going up from 5830 -> 6700 (best case scenario), doesnt change the texture of the table @ all and gives you no inherent advantage since the big stack will still be to your left. So risk/reward isnt good either.
I would probably push with 7-7.5x BB... but thats my reasoning. |

Re: 55 Speed: 300/600 Push with these stacks and this position?
I don't like folding here. More than likely the button isn't going to call you and risk crippling himself out of without a big hand. This is def a sngpt question though.

Re: 55 Speed: 300/600 Push with these stacks and this position?
Would minraising or raising to 1500 be totally bad here, obviously calling the small stacks but folding to a button raise?
I guess it would be b/c it would be asking for a push from the button, but if you were a tricky player known to trap then maybe not? |
