I think this hand is fairly standard but when I run bad i like to do a few check ups.
Party $50/100. 2 limps (1 is unknown and the 2nd is a loose bad player) and I limp with A4s. The blinds come along and there's 5 of us. Flop is Q52 with 1 of my suit. Checked to the bad player who bets I raise and the original limper calls 2 cold. 3 of us to the turn. 7 on the turn giving me 2 to my flush and they check to me. I check as well. If it was heads up I'd certainly bet but the original limper calling 2 cold sounds like a Q and potentially stronger that never folds to a turn bet here. River is an A. The original limper bets the bad player calls and I raise. Both call and I lose to AQ. I make a note that the original limper is bad and am happy with my play? |
