Why is it such much to ask for government to act as a business and allow competition and/or opting out for whatever services it provides. Clearly, when it does not allow opting out or competition for whatever it provides it is extortion/enslavement/immoral/predatory.

Ofcourse we know that the concept of government is a monopolistic/force-based one, so the idea of giving it both the power to tax AND to demand it's power remain limited is, well.. backward, naive and frankly: insulting.

I think it would be safer if every household had to own a weapon.

Of course, the Swiss militia is also compulsory. And they're not allowed to use their ammunition "illegally".

But it is a pretty sweet looking gun, isn't it:

I know the fact that the swiss are required to own automatic weapons gets you all riled up, but isn't that another form of government coersion? [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
