First this,

[ QUOTE ]
ie he can have anything, seriously. he got his stack by refusing to fold top pair for 1 buyin against turn checkraises from guys with 1 buyin when he had 3, ie not folding J9o on a JxxT three diamonds board.

[/ QUOTE ]

then this?

[ QUOTE ]
so i think he is capable of folding trips and a straight to a river shove.

[/ QUOTE ]

Shove, shove, shove. He calls your shove with a 4 and doesn't call any raise with less than that.

going completely on chat reads. he does not have AA, he would have said something pre. he has 78, 44, 88, 56.

given that range, and that he is never folding 78 or 56 to a shove, i think shoving is +EV because 44 and 88 are waaaay less likely than 56 and 78.

i was going for a turn checkraise btw in the hopes that his goofy hand would bet to steal from what looked like AK or something. he even said as much. except he checked.

anyone like betting on turn more than a checkraise?

[/ QUOTE ]

I like betting more because:

-it doesnt look as strong as a checkraise
-if he raises we get more value out of a 3bet than we would a checkraise
-if he checks behind we lose a lot of value
-hes a moron and probably isnt very good

Hail Eris, not folding top pair to a 90 dollar bet on turn is far different than not folding the 20th nuts (STRAIGHT!!!) to a threebet-reraise of $320 on the river. if u cant see that, im sorry.

yea. don't try to outplay donks. they luuuurve that slowplay. he is only thinking 0th level, so a bet vs a cr means nothing to him to define our hand, so put the money in the pot! i would expect him to smooth call probably, but that's fine, the pot is bigger on the river for bigger value bets.

drop the sarcasm.

a 0th level 90/whatever isn't folding a straight ever.

if you think he does, then your play is obvious. just call.

You said he called a CR on the turn with TPCK in a threeway pot. There is no difference. Your villain is a maniac and isn't folding.

Lol. Villain is 90/40/5. Puhlease. Villain is retarded. Please stop attributing intelligence to his actions.

I think you lost to 44 in this hand, which belongs in BBV. Doesn't change the fact that Villain acts just as stupidly with a straight or a 4, because he thinks/hopes you have something like AA.
