I'm going to stop defending Negreanu's play - he's just a big fish in this game, along with Elezra. He's got to be running something like 50/17 and just has no regard for what hands to play in position or out of position.

Lindgren betting 4K into 21K on the river when the flush hits, with 4 high = brilliant.

It shows more and more that these guys just don't play much no limit.

I love how Daniel thinks his decisions are basically unquestionable. He seems to really believe he's reached some pinnacle of poker thought.

Why are people criticizing Laak's criticism of Negreanu? He was right. That was an awful call.

Lindgren showing his TT to the table, and not realizing that Juanda still had chips left and was not all-in, was pretty damn funny, imo.

It wasn't that bad. BG must have been doing this. I heard David Grey saying something like I'd move in if I were BG when facing a raise from DN. It could be BG had a run of cards AK/AA etc, but he's got to have an image of pushing light. DN must have a read that there's a good chance he's either dominating or racing.

Also, it seems kinda offensive to other players if you criticize their play. Those high stakes pros talk about lotta stuff but they rarely criticize others' play.

I agree with you. What was DN thinking calling another 80k with just JJ? It's just not that good of a hand to risk that much. I guess he was tilting so hard he couldn't take a step back and see this. Lucky for Barry that Eli flipped over the Q by mistake and not the J. Can you imagine the argument if that had happened and Daniel had instafolded and showed Barry his JJ?

And it was obvious to me that Eli was also steaming a bit - witness his brain dead argument about Barry re-raising him after Eli has been playing almost every pot for the past 2 days.

Daniel certainly seemed a lot angrier in this episode. His snide remarks were quite pointed this time. I guess being down 1/2 a mill (or whatever the final count was) will do that to you. I wouldn't know. Maybe he made it up on the props?

How come no one has commented on AJ's and Gabe's opening shtick? I'm surprised we don't have the usual 3 or 4 posts about how they must really hate each other. Or maybe some people are finally wising up to the fact that this is television. Acting. Hmmmmm?
