yes, bad.

OP, i think you played it well and i'd play it the same. if your read is really dead on that he's passive as hell, maybe you can even fold on the flop to his minraise or on the turn when he bets again. use your stats and reads.

do u actually see why 3betting and folding to a push is bad?

and the reson i said wtf, is that tannej didnt anywhere say anything about no being in position

I play it the same way FWIW. I'm not good at folding in these types of spots ("it's only $20 to win $78! callcallcall"

Its bad because we are committing ourselves? He is a passive player playing strongly for the first time and likely isnt folding here and we can see the river cheap enough, because he makes small bets into the pot?
