Wow, at least its 100% curable and thats very good to hear. I couldn't imagine what it'd be like to hear the word cancer from a doctor. Best of luck to you, your outlook is great

Peter,

You are a strong person and just posting this takes a lot of courage. I have a quick story of when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 when my parents were near retirement. They found infected lymph nodes in her chest around the area of the infected breast. She was schedule to have a full mastectomy and extensive treatment to follow. Upon seeing her for the first time after hearing this diagnosis the first thing she said to me was,

“I can’t wait to get through this so we can retire.”

She never got sick a day from any of the treatments and is five years cancer free.

Keep up your spirits; you have many people supporting you, including me.

Take care,
Joe

You caught it early, I'm sure you will beat this.

I am a testicular cancer survivor who has a post-cancer second child due any day now.

From one survivor to another, welcome to the club!

But then sure enough they found a tiny nodule, only about 4 centimeters in length. The pathologist said that it was tiny enough that many doctors wouldn’t try to biopsy it, but that he thought he could get in there and get a sample.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm curious why 4 centimeters is considered "tiny". That sounds pretty big to me. Anyone ?

Good thing you caught it when you did and made sure you got to a doctor who was diligent in figuring out what the problem was. A lot of people might not have been as heads-up as yourself.

Best of luck. Very glad to hear it's treatable.
