Admitted Homer, but Pats win the East easy, I never understood the Dolphins talk, its [censored] Daunte Culpepper. I don't think they have an easy time in the playoffs, but they will definitely beat the Colts if that matchup occurs.

OK, now my homerism is showing. This was a pretty awful post and thread. Still, I don't think any real NE fan thinks the Pats are a lock for the Conference or anything.

I'd say the Pats are close to a lock for the East (not sayin much) and a dog to take the conference... things will need to go their way w/ regard to injuries, and even then they are lacking in some skill positions and would need to really gel as a team (again).

i think NE is clearly the favorite to win the division but unless either dillon or maroney has a good year and either watson or some random WR break out (or branch comes back) i can't see them being good enough either offensively or defensively to take on any of the elite AFC teams.
