Re: $27 Turbo: 88 on a 9xBB stack from EP
One less overpair, one more underpair. Against a range of 88+, ATs+, AJo+ (which I completely made up), TT will win ~49% of the time, JJ ~55% of the time. That's a fairly significant edge.

Read dependent. However I'm always pushing JJ+ here [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: $27 Turbo: 88 on a 9xBB stack from EP
Aight, thanks for the advice all, and the suggestions on what ranges I should be pushing.
As I said, I pushed, and felt unsure about it, but thought it was probably right. Consensus here seems to be that I was being a bit too agro and needed at least TT or JJ. As far as the entertaining results, MP2 pushed behind me for a bit less than my stack, UTG folded. MP tabled KK, I spiked an 8 on the river to win the hand. I eventually built a huge stack when my J8o went up against KK (all-in preflop), got a K88 flop, and I turned quads. Went on to win a few hands later. |

My honest opinion is that you will be dominated a large amount of the time and be up against AK when you aren't, I don't think it gets folded much either. I think the push would be a bad move.
