Halo7,

Can you show me how you did the EV calc. for the initial sign-up? I had it being very +EV for Jacks or Better video poker...

1036.20-[(20724*4)-(.995*(20724*4))]= $621.72

1036.20 is the bonus amount in my account, 20724 is the wagering requirement, which I multiplied by 4 because VP only contributes $.25 on the dollar to the WR.

Did I miss something here? (The .5% house advantage for Jacks or Better is approximate, depends on the exact pay scale...)

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, that's how i calcululate it as well.

Is this bonus automatic in the poker room with a deposit directly to the sportbetting room? I don't see the bonus listed anywhere in the cashier as pending.

I am not a JoB master myself, but I have read that the pay scale Mansion uses is very crippled so it isn't anywhere close to .5%. For the Single zero Bacarrat with La Partage they use, the HA is 1.06%. This makes the EV $80,000*.0106=$848 expected loss from HA, which leaves $1000-$848=162 in +EV left. We have a full review of this on my site too BTW

The real reason I don't typically recommend JoB for bonus clearing is 1) manual clearing and 2) high variance due to a top loaded payout scale. If you don't get a straight flush or royal (depending on the game obv) you are running really -EV in the short term on a lot of bonuses with a high risk of ruin.

Hope this helps,
Halo7

Also a very important factor is whether Mansion allows VP doubling to count toward the WR...doubling agressively significantly lowers HA. Anybody know? I'll try and ask support, but if my past experiences with mansion support are any indication, they'll probably just give me the wrong answer.

After some investigation, it looks like:

-Doubling doesn't count towards the WR
-As Halo said, the JoB pay table is well below normal, and thus, HA will be much greater than 0.5%

So it looks like either baccarat or nothing.

Yup. There was a spot where I saw this, I believe it was on their website, under account information, there was a tab that said pending bonus or something like that. It is also automatic. You should not have to move money from the sportsbook to poker or casino, it is all kept in 1 account.

The SD is only .93, so unless you're making huge bets, you have less chance of busting than doing War, and a lot less than BJ.

NL seems to be the only tables that consistently have players there. As for the quality of games, I can't say. The pot has to be raked @ >$.50 IIRC. But the bonus does clear in $10 increments.
