One thing you could try, is to turn off hardware acceleration for your sound card:

Look in control panel for "Sounds and Audio devices", then click "Advanced" on the "Speaker settings" panel, then on the "Performance" tab set "Hardware acceleration" to none using the slider.

Not sure if it will work, but it's worth a try.
