I don't know mark personally but were always having battles when we played 5/10 together. That aside from everyone who has met him in person they say he is a really nice guy. So maybe this is the case of someone becoming an ass behind their computer.

[/ QUOTE ]

What is/was his online name on other sites? I've heard he's a nice guy, too, and I know that what happens online, stays online...but my hunch is that his "nice guy" persona hides his true colors.

Had 2 encounters with him at the wsop this year.. one he was at the table behind me and got into a big argument with John Benetti(sp?) about whether you could come into a hand on the button after a table change. Anyway it got really heated and benetti got up real close talking in his face and vos put his hand up in his face and our dealer ran over and pulled benetti back before it turned ugly. Closest to a fight I've ever seen playing poker.

2nd experience I was at a final table (go me) and he had a friend that was still in it and dropped by for a few minutes to say hi and he says something to the effect of "you're way better than all these guys" loud enough so that everyone else still left at the table can hear it. I can see maybe telling him that in private to get his friend pumped up or whatever but seemed like a really dickish move especially since I'm sure he hadn't played with most of the people left.

Never actually played with him but rubbed me the wrong way every time I saw him

Unfortunately was probably one of the worst events to do well in, it was one of the 1500 ones after the main event already got started so no coverage really and only about 500 people entered. Got 3rd for ~50k, I'll still definitely take it though

Mark Vos is a moron. Period. For him to say something like this is horrible. He was getting dominated and outplayed last night by Stu and Mark whined and whined... Stu didnt say a word. Then today mark comes back and says some ridiculous comment like the one he made. Wow. This guy doesnt deserve to be a full tilt pro. Hes a moron; and a horrible poker player.

(Stu's idea for a FTP commercial involved Matusow stealing his wheelchair and selling it for coke).

I couldn't resist.

Having said that, I guess Vos is a dick after all. Based on my experience with Matusow, I figured he deserved it, but this is way out of line.
