i think that the person with superior hand reading skills would prevail.
that said the superior hand reader is only profitable as long as that person acts logically off their opponents holdings vs their own. and thats where superior understanding of the game theory aspects become vital in being profitable in the long run. |

I really think that the importance shifts from theory to hand reading as you rise from the micros to high stakes.

Read the article in this or last months 2+2 magazine. There, Sklansky writes what separates pros from the wannabee's --> Hand reading abilities.
He mentions that these pro's might even not know the exact drawing percantages and stuff like that. |
