..and what is "5 handed bubble fun"? This is just an attempt to get more replies, stop it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Look at the stacks and the blind level this is a 5 handed bubble.

Bubble: The point in any tournament when players begin to play extra tight in order to attempt to assure themselves a finish in the money. Usually, this occurs when there is one player more than there are paid finishing positions

unless vill is a 2p2er i seriously doubt he is pushing any two. personally i would much rather push 23o from the button and have some FE than to call with QT.

[/ QUOTE ]

There is no fold equity I will essentially be caling the BB from this point forward.

Easy fold. Not that it matters, but I think of this as the bubble as well, even though there are 5 players.

I started watching TV but this hand is still bugging me. I truely cannot see how folding this is the proper play. I posted this hand because it did confuse me but now that I have some time to ponder it I am more convinced that calling would have been the best play.

There is little to no chance of folding into the money. So basically I have to get my money in within the next 3 hands, how can I possible get a better spot? Somebody explain this to me because this hand bothering me.

You are better off pushing one of those hands.

Why is everyone so keen to fold this?

There is 2856 in the pot after antes, which are 50 I believe.

Hero has invested 400 already. He has to call about 1000.

Therefore he's getting 3:1 ! Not bad when UTG is on a huge range.

If Hero pushes, BB is folding unless he has a pretty big hand, I'd think.

Looks like a push to me. Is there a flaw in this insight?

Ryan

I like a push. It's hugely +EV if BB folds. Of course he won't always but it should still be worth it.
