[ QUOTE ] Once you check and he bets, you have to fold. What about stop-n-go'ing here? [/ QUOTE ] This is NOT a SnG spot. There are actually very very few times that I use a SnG. I actually found one the other night and thought about posting it, but I didnt want the whole SnG bandwagon to start up again. Re: ($11) AKo out of position
i think folding/calling (PF) are both fine. i lean towards calling if i dont have a read. pushing is completely out of the question. theres a good chance we're coinflipping here and a random $11'er usually isnt reraising here with JTs (although it's not unheard of).

sngs are all about using our superior poshbotting skills in the late game. not our amazing coinflipping skills in the early game.

Re: ($11) AKo out of position
Your flop play here is correct. I would never lead into a PF raiser/re-raiser whether I hit or not.
I do not like the call pre flop when there is another player to act behind. As others have stated this is a push/fold descision pre flop. I would tend to push here but I play on crypto which has different blind structure then hand here so the general concencus of a fold is probably correct here. |
