I had a feeling this was far from normal. [censored] rediculous my credit union is. She actually had the nerve to ask me "Well, what do you need that much cash for??"

Fairly limited these days. Never live. However, I was out of work for close to a year (about 2 years ago) and am proud to say that I was able to support myself playing PLO on PP.

Tooo stressful for me day-in and day-out though. I make a much better worker-bee.

I just had this situation come up this week. Here's what I did. I walked to the bank, filled out a withdrawal slip, went into the merchant teller booth area (because it was a large amount of cash, they recommend doing that rather than getting it in plain view of everyone), handed the slip to a cashier, who then handed me that amount of cash.
