Re: Running Training
Bruiser,
I haven't checked out the site besides just skimming: http://www.soccerfitness.net/programs.html Lots of stuff, including: http://www.soccerfitness.net/ss1.html Check that out. Also, just search Google for "soccer" "ladders" "wind sprints" and "shuttle runs" for lots of great running exercises. I've been alternating my run days lately with sprint training days and they are a great way to change things up and are an insane workout. Also, I bought some new gear yesterday. Nike compression dri-fit. I really like this stuff for running. The long sleeve shirts are great when it's a little chilly outside, and the short sleeve ones are good when it's warmer. And they look pretty cool. I took a picture of my shirt yesterday after my workout: |

Re: Running Training
El Diablo - you really need to tell Mark Wahlberg to stop wearing your stuff.

Try interval training. [/ QUOTE ] research specifically arthur lydiard's philosophies on interval training. he coached runners, but footballers, rugby players, boxers, and others using his training principles. |
