Well, if he's pushing every single pot preflop, your cards become a whole lot more important. Obviously position matters, and it helps to know what kind of ranges other players are on, but it's much more important what hand you're dealt.

Sklansky and Miller's NL book also has helpful charts for preflop all-in situations.

His final hand he won a $420 pot with 5 guys capping it with crap and he has AA.

I'm confused. Did you mean 5/10 or $0.50/$1.00? How did they play a $420 pot?
