[ QUOTE ]
You would be calling 200 to win 800. Your flush draw is 22.5% to hit and you have two additional outs from the aces (at a bare minimum), so calling is automatic in the scenario.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you're going to call on the turn for all your money anyway why not push on the flop and see if he'll lay down some hands, he probably does have KKxx but I think a shove is better than calling him down.

Although the best consideration is this, how is the table playing? If your one of the best players then you should go for the low volatitliy option of calling and re-evaluating the turn (as you have position on him but he will most likely instashove if you call). If money is hard to come by it is probably better to shove, against skill you use luck and against luck you use skill.

Because you're NOT going to call ont he turn for all your money anyway. HE ASKED SPECIFICALLY IF THE TURN DOESN'T PAIR THE BOARD. Jeez.

It's highly doubtful that he'll lay down a hand here getting 3.5:1 on his money if you reraise.

The idea is that you aren't going to call him anyway - if the board pairs on the turn and he bets you can fold. Since you're in position, it's even possible that you might get a free card if something like a 6 or a 7 comes off on the turn. You'll probably make more in the long run by just calling here & using positional advantage.

If the stacks are deeper, though, it's definitely more of a raise or fold situation - usually the latter. I think that in this situation the stacks are just the right size to justify a call.

I don't think folding is weak, if you're up against either

a) a tight player that is much more likely to have KK than K5, K4, or a low wrap, or

b) a player who is usually passive

My bad I didnt fully read his question, obviously if the turn doesnt pair you should call for the odds. Sorry if I terribly offended you Ribbo.

But I like shoving if you are against a tight or v.skillful player and calling if he's bad, loose or overly aggressive.
