Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
[ QUOTE ]
Thanks a lot for this. I would pay good money for an Absolute auto-miner if you could get that working. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not going to charge anything for the code. However no donations will be refused. I have a tendency to always be working on like 3 or 4 projects at once, so I don't know when I will have the rest of it complete. I'll probly put this a little higher on the list now that I know other people will be using it. Small update to the code. Source |

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
Each file will hold all the hands for that specific table. So six tables means six files. The only reason one table would be split over two files is if you are mining at 11:59pm, then a new file will be created with the new date.

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
The miner seems to only grab hands periodically..what if I quickly want to finish mining and graba ll the hands in the HH window?

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
Once the timer fires, it should copy all the hands that are new since the last scan. I can add a button that will do one pass of the list and bypass the timer.

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
I've been trying it out..and it seems like it maxes out at 1000 hands. This has happened twice so far. it seems like when it reaches 1000 it stops scrolling down the HH folder and grabbing hands.

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
Interesting. I'll have to look at it when I get home. I haven't had time to play much lately, so I've never had the program open for more than one or two hundred hands.

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
Update:
v.52 can be found downloaded from here New: Force Scan: Button will make the program scan the list, starting at the top, despite how much time is left in the timer. New: Preference Window: User can specify the number of seconds to wait between scans. The user can also cause the program to default to only loading Observed Hands. phil: You are correct. It stops exactly after the 1000th hand. I'm still looking into why. |

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining
the instant Hand History List is a Circle (pipe) - once there are 1000 hands (i guess) it trops out the first and writes the last to the end of the list.
Maybe that could be your problem? |
