You aren't putting in half the money. The blind money doesn't count since it's already committed to the pot. You're getting 3.5-1 in your situation, so you don't need any edge to call. There's potentially lots more bets that can go in after the flop so I wouldn't be thinking about this in terms of equity anyway.

I know that. I just made a theoretical example when talking about the impact of the rake.


So, I guess it all comes down to how bad or good the opponents are postflop...
