Michael Moore suggest Oprah running in one of his books. His rationale is: she's well known annd liked by many, and stands a real chance of winning; she's so rich, so is pretty much immune to corruption; she is obviously empathetic to people, and would therefore make decisions based on the benefits to people, not to pressure groups/power groups etc.

He has an interesting point.
