I think another thing to take into account is the utility of a whole pack of joints. I would be very surprised if anywhere near as many people smoked a pack of joints/day as people smoke a pack of cigarettes/day. In other words, one would probably get longer use from a pack of joints. Comparing it to alcohol, many people pay $20 for a case of beer, which is enough to get F*ed up for 1-3 days. This may have absolutely nothing to do with it, but I think is interesting nonetheless.

The car is likely to last them more than a day. I think this is interesting as well.

I have never been there so I have nothing to offer in that respect.

the actual harvestable part from marijuana would me much smaller then tobacco though wouldn't it? Or would this be only for the guiness of weeds.
