Oh man, it depends on so many things. Right now we know nothing of either three players and your history at the table.
Against standard loose/overplaying players, check-raising the field seems good; as the raiser is to your immediate left. |

if I am against a bad player, I like to check raise. If I am against a solid player, I like to lead.

checking with the intention of raising is worlds different than checking with the intention of calling.

The poll is pretty even this far.
I understand that it depends on lots of factors like image etc. but I was looking for the standard play, after all, it might be the first hand at the table with no history whatsoever. I dont like this type of hands where no stats or anything is stated, but this is an example. One thing I thought about here was that the pot is 4-handed and therefor the PFR might be afraid someone of the two players behind him will wake up with a good hand and therefor only call (or maybe even fold) a hand strong as AQ or KK. But regardless of that I prefer the lead for sure. Some follow ups: 1# Would you be more inclined to lead/check (to start with) if it was: 1#1, 2 players in the pot (Hero and UTG(PFR)) 1#2, 3 players in the pot (Hero, UTG(PFR) and Button) 2# Are you more inclined to lead/check (to start with) if the board had two of the same suit, ie 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]? |

Hat, the board is a factor right? There is a good posibility that this flop hit the pre raiser yet you are fearlessly leading into him. AND also leading into 2+ players shows even more strenght.

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, because if I c/r it shows looots of strenght, especially if PFR bets and someone calls behind us. And c/c and checking the turn is very dangerous because of the round check possibility, and I dont like the c/c lead turn line most of the time. |

the poll is pretty even because you need to make a real poll which separates options 2 and 3, which as i said, are completely different.

And your thought about the hand example. Also, if it was separeted the lead would be in the lead (hoho) because the 2 and 3 are together, the players that think c/r or c/c is the "correct" answer obviously votes on check (to start with), or am I missing something here? |
