I think this is one of those borderline plays that isn't going to hurt you too much either way. I certainly don't think calling 1.5 small bets w/ AQo makes you a fish.

Personally, with UTG+1 raising 12% of his hands preflop, I'm going to call that most of the time as well and give it a whirl. That's a pretty good sample size and to me, that means he could be raising w/ hands like AJs, ATs, and also other hands you stand a good chance w/ like JJ, TT. So, I think it's worth a shot.

Villians stats look good to me, a little bit agro but he might be running hot over those 500. With stats like this I'd venture to say he can play position properly meaning he's more likely to have a bigger hand from EP.

Not only did you cold call, you're out of position. If an A hits he's likely to extract the most out of you if he's dominating and lose the minimum if you're dominating him.

If the raise came from mid to late position I cold call as well, with an EP raiser who knows what he's doing, I fold this.
