I get a sinking feeling you're beat here but I don't fold trips TK, online and on this board for 100BB. I've just seen to many weird moves (even from ultra tight players) to worry about this spot.

i dont get why ppl are saying u are crushed... this seems very standard.... is there anything wrong with pushing turn? that would be pretty standard for me.

i'm sure since this hand is posted that he lost to a full but overall u would be insane to fold this.

What would a TAG c/r that you're beating on this flop?

Meh, probably being results-oriented.

Because by the river it is obvious he has trips or better. Two factors make 22/33 alot more likely than AJ/KJ/QJ/JT/J9:

1) he cold-called preflop out of the small blind - if he had been the big blind it's a different story, but in my experience a TAG cold-calling out of the small blind has a pocket pair alot more often than a hand containing a jack.

2) he put in a very large check-raise on the flop. This is either air/smaller pair or a strong hand alot more often than a top-pair hand.

That said, those 3-1 odds on the river are enticing, and you can't really fault a call.

I don't see how you can fold anywhere other than the flop.

Grim this is either complete air or a boat. There's no way an overpair keeps betting there and I doubt he CRes you with a Jack.

So i dunno, go on how likely he is to be pulling a move given history and image, etc
