I do bank wires direct to my CBA account. As you would expect, the crooks at CBA charge more than any other bank ($10 AUD) for this service.

Yeah, but the BPAY option is a different option from the bank wire. I don't think that there will be a charge from your bank with the BPAY option as it should just get treated like a direct credit.

Anyway, I've requested a small cashout and we'll see how it goes. It's quite sad that I'm so excited to be able to access my own money easily.

Trust me on this - use Gary benson's service as described in the link in The Iceman's post above.

Absolutely hassle free, efficient, and his fee is so insignificant compared to other services. There is no reason to do it any other way and be slugged with massive fees!

For what its worth, ive used him numerous times over the last year for a number of different amounts. just contact him and it'll all be good mate!

Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)

The first time i cashed out i used the cheque method, and St George charged a ridiculous $30-something dollars.

This time i used neteller and used their Bank Draft option. This is much cheaper ($10 USD charge so far on neteller's side) and faster (they send the money in AUD). I deposited my ~$1300 AUD this morning and hopefully it will have cleared by friday so i can spend

Well, my first cash out arrived in my bank account today, so it took a week.

It was processed as a direct credit and so there were no fees or charges.

I got an exchange rate of about 1.3031 which isn't too shabby.
