Re: Why are 100BB stacks the norm for NL?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] capped NL to keep the fishies from losing their whole bankroll as fast seems to be the norm. [/ QUOTE ] Bingo. It's the perfect amount becuase it's just enough to be able to do stuff like cold-call 74s otb, but not too much to make fishies go broke. [/ QUOTE ] Actually, I think its a horrible amount. I'd prefer 80BB or 120BB as it makes stack sizes less awkward assuming bets and raises that are roughly pot-sized. 100BB is right in the middle of that zone where you often have too much left on the turn to push but not enough to bet and not be committed to putting the rest in on the river. |

The swedish site Svenska Spel has 200BB stacks. It's pretty darn scary. [/ QUOTE ] Is Svenska Spel as fishy as I head it is? |

Re: Why are 100BB stacks the norm for NL?
I have watched my friend play the lowest levels and the play was absolutely atrocious. I have no experience with higher levels though.
