I'm about to start a set. Is it worth it or should I do something else until they sort themselves out?

Well well well....

I called back just for kicks because I got the feeling that the last woman just wanted me off the phone. Got another woman who didn't seem to know what she was doing either and she got the supervisor. He tried arguing that I "went all in" in my tournaments in question. Well of course I eventually went all in, if I'm not at the table playing then I will get blinded out you moron. (I didn't put it that way but he was a slow one) It was like pulling teeth to convince him I wasn't lying, I had to go through the hand histories with him and explain when and where I got disconnected... of course he hadn't bothered to see how many times I automatically folded before "going all in". Eventually he said "ok, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time" and refunded me. Unbelievable.

This is what always blows my mind when I read about this stuff happening with Party. When they do finally give you your money back after plenty of arguing, they do so with this condescending tone that says that they still believe that you are lying to them somehow. They say things like "gesture of good will" and "give you the benefit of the doubt". It's not good will, and there is no doubt. It is just good business to refund the money.

It does seem that my section of the Internets tubes (not a truck that you just dump stuff into) is fixed, and my tournaments are staying connected.

Are the fish at Party worth all of this constant aggravation?

I'm glad I switched to Stars.

I was just thinking this but didn't want to say anything. The profits must be absolutely amazing on Party to make a person want to try to withstand all the crap and continue to say you'd move away from Party only if you dislike money.

I must be missing out big because there is no way in the limited time I have to try to squeeze in 16 or so SNGs a night that I'd deal with everything I read on these boards about Party.

Party must be like some super hot chick that you just can't let go of even though she has an addiction to crack.

That's the best I could think of.

I should have said "damn you got me, my plan was to continuously fold until I had 150 chips left and 93o on the bubble."
