Definitely in favor of a split. The casino bonuses seem to have taken over, making the poker bonuses harder to find and getting bumped way down prematurely.

I think this would be a good idea as well.

I'm another who is only interested in poker-bonuses and have zero interest in any of the other casino-type bonuses.

Agreed, I hate wading through posts about casino bonuses.

If the powers that be don't want to have separate forums, maybe we could encourage people to put a CB (casino bonus) or PB (poker bonus) in their thread titles?

For example.... "CB: Best way to clear Nine.com bonus?"

Ideas like this rarely work from my experience. I'm also in favor of a split.

because of all the casino whoring chaff I'm finding that Bonuswhores news page is a clearer source of BW info that the 2+2 forum. 2+2 blew any other site away 3 months ago. not anymore.

Seems I'm the only one that likes the bonus forum how it is. I say no split, but obviously I'm in the minority.

The main problem here is that Internet Bonuses is a private, sponsored forum. If it were just another 2+2 forum, we could have it split in a couple days. However, I think it would be rude to PSO to create a new 2+2 forum for either casino or poker bonuses and leach their traffic, but I also don't think we want to give them two forums, one for poker, one for casino, at the same price they're paying to run one. If this is going to happen, it's going to take some time to negotiate things with a paid advertiser.

Yes, i know they rarely work. I was just trying to find another solution in case they don't split. I am totally in favor of a split myself.

Does PSO care about casino bonuses? If not, then just make a new Casino bonuses forum and they can keep their poker bonus traffic. That's the way it was before all the casino threads took over in the last two months, so they're not losing anything.

Maybe not, but they might care about the traffic to their forum, which generates traffic to their home site.

Since it seems to be up to PSO I sent email to them asking for split.

You're not the only one. We have been getting way too many new forums recently. If you guys don't like the Casino bonuses, why not just make that board poker only and have the mods delete the casino stuff.
