more likely missed spades without a K? And a smaller bet spades with a K? |

not really. if hero is bluffable on an A-high board a smaller bet will do the job. if hero has a hand and thinks villain is capable of bluffing most villains assume hero will reason as you did and be willing to call, and in some cases MORE willing to call, a pot-sized bet.
fwiw, i raise less preflop, bet less on flop, then almost certainly bet the turn: $45, $70-80, $150-175. turn is a bet on this board vs. most opponents if you're aggro and there's nothing special about him. |

it occurs to me I raised to $50, not $60, after CO limped for 10. does that dramatically change the hand?

[/ QUOTE ] I play lower so thats why I asked. In my game pot bet on the end in this hand is a bluff and 1/2 pot is a value bet with a K.
