He did have a breakeven stretch of 100k hands. Not what I call a "successful" player.

Only recently he was struggling in the blinds asking for everyones screenshots of there blinds.

Is it basically 'your' book with contributions from brier?
Not sure if this hand is what your looking for, my making at the time was that I could fold out a 3 and didn't want to lose the pot by his default river bet if he missed a draw also. I'm checking behind on the river UI.
These guy is a typical tag 26/19/2.1.

Are you really implying here that winning players can't have 100k breakeven stretches? Even at SH Limit?

No, Byron Jacobs and I will both contribute to the strategy sections.

I would generally just call the flop check raise and preserve my implied odds. If I got to the turn the same way you did I would certainly check. I don't think you have much in the way of fold equity and you don't have the ace high draw so checking the river won't necessarily win you the pot if he does have a draw.

I fold the river. I think it's a wishful thinking to call that river expecting to win 1-4. If you think he is peeling super light (IE unpaired) than fire a second barrel.

What I'm really looking for are the very very simple situations. You raise and get 2 callers. Bet the flop and get a caller. Do you bet the turn. Or a single blind calls and he calls the flop, do you bet the turn. Or you raise and the button ccs, you bet the flop, he calls. HU, do you bet the turn.

The hands so far are interesting hands. I'm looking for super basic hands.

The reason I can't just look in my own databases is I don't have reads. I'm actually leaning towards just making up hand examples for this part of the book. It might be a better way to illustrate the concepts.

For now, keep posting hands and I'll comment. Thanks for your help,

Krishan
