I actually feel bad for the chimp.

He's like "Get me the hell out of here. Even I know this is dumb."

Wow, that was awesome. I understand that the whole thing is just a publicity stunt, but seriously, did they even try to train the monkey to play poker? You could take any random monkey from the zoo (no pun intended ) and he'd "look at his cards" if you handed them to him and "push" his chips, if you set them in a stack in front of him and pointed at them.

I don't understand. Why is PokerShare sending a Party customer service rep to the WSOP?

I can't wait for Phil Hellmuth's response: "Freakin' monkey stuff. This ape doesn't even know how to spell poker."

if they allow this 4 1/2 yr old play, that should open the door for all the 18,19,20yr old players to get in on the WSOP action too

Well judging from that video he's got Chris Moneymaker's skills and Mike Matusow's discipline, so I don't see why he couldn't play.

*cross posted from WSOP forum; hadn't seen this thread*

All,

I just emailed the contact address at PokerShare. They have received a verbal OK from Harrah's to make Mikey's entry happen, but they are still waiting to have it in writing. Methinks they won't get it in writing, but I certainly hope they do, I think it would be a riot.
