On Wednesday when I got off the Subway I did see a bunch of guys wearing hardhats standing around, but I didn't pay much attention. Then I ran some errands down south of my place where there was power. If you watch the news, you would think there is massive chaos around here.

The only extended power cut I've experienced was after a huge storm ripped down thousands of kilometres of power cables across the entire country, blacking out virtually everyone. And it still didn't take them 5 freaking days to fix it. Their excuse is air conditioning? Did someone forget how to reset the breakers?
