hard for him to put you on a real hand given the way you played flop. I'd call all day.

[/ QUOTE ]

what about T9 or 88 both are likely hands for OP.

Generally donkish as in he takes weird lines that may be unprofitable

[/ QUOTE ]

This sounds scary here obv, but given the line we took on flop I have a really hard time letting this go; for him, we are going to be on a steal/draw here enough that I can imagine him making this play w/ quite a lot. (Obv he isn't very concerned about button, not enough to not make the play at least.)

[/ QUOTE ]

we just sat down though, he doesnt know whether or not we make a play at this

There's a ton of ways for you to be beat (surprised no one mentioned 9Ts, as that got there on turn as well), but given how you played flop, I think you have to call this as you're beating a ton of combo-draws and weirdly slow-played pair-type hands which can't put you on a big hand you can call with given, again, how you played the flop. This is where you grab something, get ready to throw, and call.

Every fking time I slowplay set, I run into similar situation and I can't remember the last time I won. It does seems like a fold (I don't think this is a draw), but I can't remember the time I folded hand like that. This is very hard to fold considering possible QJ/AA and the fact we checked the flop.

Hands I can think of that play like he did: QQ, JJ, T9, 88.

I'm also quite amazed by the flop check. The donkish button will often check behind, even when they do have a hand.

He was the preflop raiser, he checks that flop.. that should make u think. He bets the turn.. Gets raised.. and pushes. You have bottom set? You can beat top 2 pair, thats it.

Mucky muck. Sorry your slowplay didn't work out but don't lose your whole stack over it.
