[/ QUOTE ] IDEA THIEF. It has to be a rebuy of some sort. Whether a $5r so we can get a real prizepool going or a 1c rebuy for an insane time, there is no better option.

Why not just a $5 buy-in and only the final table makes it in the money? That way the prize pool could be over $1000. We could have a steep pay structure like 1st getting 40%.

[/ QUOTE ] this is definitely the best idea. the rebuyfests are a fun idea, but some of us would love to get involved, but cant afford to keep up with the tons of rebuys and it wouldnt be as fun if there were some rebuying maniacs and then the rest of us were just nits. i really wish there was a cool way to do a combination format tourney, like start off with heads up matches, the winners of those then go on to a second round which is shootout and the winners of those tables then go on to a regular format tourney. 200 players >>>headsup>>>>100 players>>>>shootout>>>>> ;10 players final table. or make only the final table a rebuy for a half hour, now that would be nuts. everyone at final table would be in the money, but each rebuy would be %wise making the top payout heavier and heavier.
