0. Start with less than $2500
1. Two-table 6max 10/20 Limit
2. Play bad, run bad, both tables
3. Add a full buy-in to both tables (leaving less than a buy-in to spare)

...and that was just this morning. Briefly stuck over 1000, made 400 of it back somehow.

File under "variance." And Hero being a dumb bass.

Played Party two table step 5s when they first came out with a 2k bankroll. Placed in 5/6 and got my roll up to 26k. I lost a couple in a row and cashed out and bought some cool [censored].

Now where do I begin?

(I'm normally a 3/6, 5/10 NL player)

* Blackjack - $200 a hand at Prima - ran well for two days - felt invinicible, ran bad for three, found out I wasnt superman after all.

* Played $150/$300 shorthand limit at tribeca - fastest 12K I've ever lost - admittedly there were a few bad beats thrown in.

* Played £150/£300 at Crypto - there were a couple players throwing money left, right and centre, unfortunately it ended up including my money.

* Played $5000 HU SnGs at Stars - this didnt turn out too badly - but on reflection it wasnt very smart.

* Cashed out everything to buy a house - its painful working back a roll from $100.

I've done pretty well from poker but I reckon I'd have close to double what I've won if I had a little more self-control from time to time. I think I'm getting better - maybe, we'll see.

Sat in a 20/40 holdem game when my roll was like 7k but I got moved to an 8/16 without playing a single hand. Played 15/30 Stud 8 a few times with a 7-9k roll.

I'm not very adventurous.
