I will have to look into whether or not Sgt. Pepper has the cutouts in it. I believe the inner sleeve is there, but I didn't think to look for the cardboard cutouts.

White Album did not have anything in it except the disc and inner sleeve.

Do you have the one with the body parts on it, or something like that, that one is worth some bucks.

Keeping the Hardy Boys books and selling the first run vinyls doesn't make any sense. I would keep the vinyls and maybe keep the Hardy Boys if they were first edition books.

I'm keeping the books because I collect books, they are not first editions, and I grew up with Hardy Boys books so it's nice to read stories that came before the ones I read as a child. I unfortunately do not collect records. I am leaning more towards keeping them though, as I can see myself sitting down with a glass of bourbon and listening to some of these.

There is an inner conflict because of the sentimental value they have, but I have so much of my father's old stuff that it gets to the point of "How much stuff do need to remember him", ya know?

[/ QUOTE ]

Records don't have sentimental value. The songs on the record may have such value, but you can just buy the songs on CD if a particular song will remind you of your father.

Sentimental value usually means something irreplaceable (some watch he had that isn't made any more, or an old photo). These are not irreplaceable. You need money. Sell them.
