Man, all hell will break loose when some of these players show up to find out they're playing in a rebuy when they paid to play in a freezeout. I think Harry's little outburst may seem tame compared to what you might see today.

Just so you all know, I showed up early this morning to play in this event and they are specifically telling everyone that it is a rebuy and you can get a refund if you want. They allowed me to roll my buy-in over to tomorrow's event. Only problem will be for those who show up late, not sure what will happen then.

If Negreanu had a few trhings to say about the shootout, I can't wait to see what his next video says about this turn of events.

the thing is every PLO event besides the 10K event has always been rebuy (i guess because the chips fly a bit more than hold em).

Wrong. This event last year was a freezeout, won by Barry Greenstein, and yes it did go very fast. I'm sure they meant to make it a rebuy this year(rather than, oh, increase the startin stacks), but some secretary prolly just copy/pasted from last years schedule.

That's gonna be a fun time 'round the cage this afternoon.

The fact that they will refund entry fees because of their latest mistake doesn't solve the problem. What about the players who flew in just to play in this event but can't afford a bunch of rebuys? What about the players who can afford rebuys but don't bring enough cash with them to the Rio because they thought they were playing in a freezeout?

You would think that somebody in that gigantic corporation would have proofread the literature for typos before it was distributed. Instead, no one caught it until the day before the tournament?!

Harrahs sure has turned the WSOP into a circus. I don't want to think about what kind of debacle the massive Main Event is going to be.

Poker News says that after changing to rebuys, it's going back to a freezeout.

"To Rebuy, or not to Rebuy....that is the question
The rumor this morning was that today's $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event had been changed to a rebuy event. As of just a few minutes ago, we were told the event was 'back to a freezeout' (no rebuys). Any last minute changes would be expecially interesting decisions given the firestorm of controversy after a questionable decision to play a the shootout event 6 handed, not 10 handed. Interesting happenings at the WSOP..."

Are you serious? When are they going to make up their mind? After the tourney starts, like yesterday?

What a joke! "It's not a rebuy........it is a rebuy........it's not a rebuy." This is beginning to sound like an Abbott and Costello routine.
