My longest dry spell was about 6 months. I've had 2 or 3 of those though, so if you tack them together, it's something.

Here's a thought I had: a dry spell causes an interesting phenomenon, or moment, when you're just about to get laid again. When you're having sex regularly you think things like "hey, maybe I'll try for a new position" or "maybe we need to buy one of those giant cushions so I can better hit her G spot." But after a dry spell, right before insertion, I always have a moment of reflection where I think, "Wow, I'm actually having sex again."

Good question. Longest one for me, of course after I lost my virginity, was around ten months. That really f-ed with my head, to be honest.

wow. i never have those really long slumps. doesnt anyone remember slumpbusters from college. basically you go out and get wasted and pick up the ugliest fattest girl you can. not a difficult concept.

Longest was 11 mos, currently at 7. I gots no game... doesn't really bother me all that much though. I think once you make it over the 3 month hump it stops sucking quite as bad.

How often is this actually done? I've worn beer goggles before, but I just don't even think I could get aroused with a girl that was too overweight or super nasty. For me the goggles can only compensate for a face that's a little busted.

Im actually doing ths right now. GF broke up with me and my usuall M.O. is to go out and date and [censored] around with a bunch of women, not really dealing with the issues at hand. So Im changing it up this time, basically self isolating myself (dealing with physical stuff and dating) from women. I still very much talk to them, but as of now I am turning down opportunities that would require very little followup to get laid because its not what I want.

I guess Im still stuck on the ex, which for me, never happens. So its a weird place for me to be. ALthough 2 weeks ago I did sleep with some random chick just to see how I would feel about it, and nope, still weird and not what I want. Now that is kind of [censored] with my head.
